Tuna Field Development Concept Study

A new Oil and Gas discovery wells - Kuda Laut-1 and Singa Laut-1 located at the Tuna field in the North-East Natuna Sea possess high liquid content in the gas stream, making it suitable for LNG extraction.



Synergy's Scope of Work

Synergy performed the preliminary engineering for the Tuna field development with gas processing for 150 MMscfd capacity. 

Scope of work scope included full process design of the topside, structural analysis of the 8-legged fixed platform, PDMS modeling, cost estimate, safety review etc.


Key Project Achievements

  1.  Concept development of three (3) options for developing the field including fixed platform and FPSO options. 
  2. Process design and simulation of the LPG Recovery system (using the Ortloff process)
