MOPU for Nong Yao Field

Valeura Energy is developing The Nong Yao oil field that is located in the Southern part of the Gulf of Thailand.

The development involves a Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) on a lease and/or operate & maintain basis with the scope of work and supply. The production fluids from the MOPU will be transferred to the existing WHP-B through a new subsea pipeline. The stream then will commingle with the WHP-B well fluids and then transfer to WPP-A through an existing subsea pipeline.

The main features of the Nong Yao Field Development are as follows:

  • A manned Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU)
  • Well-bay Module attached to MOPU
  • 4 x 42” Conductors for 12 well slots
  • Production with ESP
  • Extension attached to MOPU for supporting 2 flexible risers. 1 production flexible riser 8” for oil export on MOPU and 1 water injection flexible riser 6” on MOPU.
  • Power generation for the MOPU will be provided by Diesel Generators

Tanjung Offshore Services Sdn Bhd has been awarded the Contract by COMPANY for the Lease Mobile Offshore Production Unit (MOPU) and the Well-bay Module attached to the MOPU.
